Description
After a while of site seeing my companion had to skedaddle, so I decided to explore the southern area of the Ash Heap a way soff from the Nuka World on Tour area and see about getting a few challenges knocked out of the way. Got near a Blood Eagle hideout near an operation station for some of the mining, no sign of the blood eagles or even any bots or moleminers. Didn't even spot a ghoul or a scorched. Was a bit ominous.... and i found out why. Apparently this big beast had decided to take on the Blood Eagle camp itself and was making its way out their front gate when i spotted it. Don't know if they were trying to tame the thing or if it mutated as a result of that site getting nuked prior, either way it was there and needed to be taken down.

Like always i started out barraging it with gatling laser fire, that did pretty good at tearing it down...... at least it did until it broke. I had to advance to the rear and get to some high ground long enough to pull out a repair kit and get the UGL back into action. Luckily for me one of the robots left behind at one of the nearby scab worker protest sites got sight of the behemoth and made its way over, giving me a momentary distraction so i could start firing again.

Took a couple of minutes but finally fell the mutie and took out the bot to boot. Of course an old truck got caught in the crossfire and when its microfission engine went into meltdown it sent the body flying a bit down the cliffside where it landed. Naturally i wasn't leaving without a photo to mark the occasion, been a while since i've last fought one of these mother hubbards, so i figured why not mop up the mutant trash for a joke?
