A couple of possible charas for Rinjapine.

It occured to me that Ile looks like she could be a child of Mtakuja and Ikuseghan. Mtakuja's dark brown dominates, but would be lightened by Ikuseghan's yellow. Mtakuja also has blue eyes. Ikuseghan has dark gray, but might be a carrier of a lighter color (we don't know). Ile has a small head tuft, which may be a reminescent of Mtakuja's fluffy head. Out of those observations, this couple was born.

Let's say that Ikuseghan's father, upon hearing the news of her broken betrothal, sends his son to investigate the case. The son, upon learning that Thuma has already taken a different mate and that Ikuseghan is living with a female, is furious. His stupid sister had ruined such a great opportunity to make contacts with the East kingdoms and the Savannah lions tolerate her perversion. Unbelievable!

The lion (I'll call him Kontar) is offered hospitality. One lioness in particular shows a vivid interest in him - one that looks awfully similar to his siter's lesbian lover. The lioness is Mtakuja's sister and seems to have a similar taste in partners - only that she prefers males ("I'll call her Nakato).

Kontar is enjoying the company of Nakato. He is used to being worshipped by childishly innocent females with a limited knowledge of the world, who look up to him for wisdom and guidance. Nakato is different. She walks her own paths and has her own mind. She is able to challange his intelect and argue with him. Still, despite not being taught to worship him like a god, she seems genuinely interested in him. And he likes it very much.

The two soon become mates. Kontar sees he has a chance to repair the failure of Ikuseghan. So, his and Nakato's daughter Ile is betrothed to Thuma's son Jirani. A generation later, but the deal still takes place. and this time, it will be fulfilled.

A very basic story, but I don't feel like writing more now.
