Description It's been a while since I put anything up, my new job has kept me busier than I thought it would. I had a look at some pictures of Sabres online and saw how to draw a better one, so I redid my Moon Sabre. You'll see it's closer to the typical sabre shape, and looks more impressive.

thats the kind of weapon that i would use to kick maldeuin and they noob axes at fire emblem 8)

tough, my fav weapon will be always the twice flashing swords of tryce

What I wouldn't give to have something like that!

The design looks very functional, as well as stylish. Using a reference was definitely a good idea. The blade's edge is clean and smooth (nice detail in giving it a lighter tone than the rest of the blade), and shape of the handle looks very realistic and sturdy.

You use Flash for making these, don't you? I can understand how difficult applying good highlighting and shading effects is with vector graphics, but you've done well, here.

Thankyou very much Matt, I'm glad you feel I did such a good job. I wanted to get the Sabre's design as close to the sword I used as a reference - [link] The picture says it's a Scimitar, so I may have confused the Sabre with the Scimitar.

Yes, I use Flash. It can be hard to get the shading effect right, but I feel I'm quite good at it. Thanks again.
