Mecha are indeed awesome, aren't they? I'm glad you like the design here.

This was always one of my fav Mekton Mechs back in the day, says the long time Robotech gamer. LoL

I always felt right at home in one of these!!

Stray thought: I wonder if the “RGZ-395B GzS Bomber variant” [link] leg missile pods would have worked on one of these, at least on the outside of the leg, hummmmm!!

Indeed I was my favorite as well   Though I still wonder sometimes why it was never designed with missile pods :/  But it's been years and my Memory is frelled up like a PB&J Sammich without the PB&J :/

Hmmm. Perhaps...

Y'know, originally there was the intention of doing lots of variations of the Sentinel and ExSentinel... maybe I should revisit that idea?

That would have been very interesting.

Using Robotech for comparison, the ExSentinel is essentially the baseline model of the Macross Veritech [link] it shouldn’t have been too hard to develop it into a type of Super Veritech [link] (personally I like the version with the double gun replacing one of the back mounted Missile pods [link] ) the possibilities for development are endless.

I certainly wouldn’t mind seeing where it could have gone, but only if you really want to go down that path, no pressure from those of us in the cheap seats.

Heh. No offense, but I wince at your use of the Robotech terminology instead of the original Macross stuff. Being a massive anime mecha fan, Robotech's "Frankenstein" nature doesn't make me smile. But I digress! I'm really here to say that... well... who knows? I may well draw up some Sentinel and ExSentinel variants in the future. Thanks for all your comments and feedback, TEm!

LoL, no offence taken, I’m an Anime fan as well, so I know what you mean, but I grew up on Robotech, it along with Star Blazers & Speed Racer were what got me into Anime, despite all the issues.

Just replace “Veritech” with “VF-1A Valkyrie” [link] & “Super Veritech” with “VF-1J Super Valkyrie” [link] in my previous post & it gets you the same thing!!

My personal ride is actually a “Valkyrie II SAP” [link] , though as a GM I rarely get to use it anymore, especially since the new Robotech/Rifts game replaced the Robotech/Macross/Traveller game we use to play.
