Well it looks like some of the castle wall has been torn off for greater public access of the local park I guess. Anyway it's a nice painting as usual.

Ok, I think I have commented before on how much i like your work, but I have to again. Here's why:
1) In this painting, you have taken full advantage of the medium. The wash(es) that you used for the light breaking through the clouds is classic watercolor-ish style and is beautiful. The marsh in the foreground similarly makes use of the medium's strengths. While these are beautiful washes, you equally skillfully juxtapose the hard lines of the structures in the scene. The ripples on the water blur the line between solid structure and gradient elements.
2) Your use of value is also exceptional. You convincingly create depth with progressive values.
3) While you might have been working from a photograph, the composition of this painting is solid. The circular movement keeps the eye in the painting, constantly reevaluating each element.
4) you make use of both "positive" and "negative" of color and shape to create.
Thanks for posting!
