I know I’ve posted partial sketches of this guy but until just a day or two ago he hadn't been named. Alex (Silvac ) named him Beel. Beel is my poster boy for domestic tasks. He's a resident of the Cats Way. On a typical afternoon you’ll find him grinding grain to make bread, which he later feeds to the strays in his village. It’s a labor of love.

Beel bakes bread by loading preheated clay molds and stacking them mouth to mouth with charcoal pushed up around the bottom. It probably doesn’t make very good bread but it’s enough to satisfy the strays. I snatched the idea after reading about how Egyptians sometimes cooked their bread. It’s the most visually interesting way I’ve ever heard of someone baking.

*Beel's lower arms are utterly bald. The fur gets pulled out or singed away while cooking and I think after a while it just stopped growing back.
