Description I'm going to be out of town for the next week so I have decided to quick get the next Spider-man extra out before I leave tomorrow.  So no updates to either project next week.

Regarding this extra, this is pretty much just for fun, something of a personal celebration for myself reaching one-hundred character entries and for those of you who have been following my work and supporting it.  So this is a riff on The Amazing Spider-Man #100, closer to an exact copy, just with my own designs and extra faces where there were words before.  So it's Spider-man crawling upside down (the first time I've uploaded anything here that shows his back, letting you see what I intended the back of his costume to look like all this time!) with a collage of faces of various characters I've done in the project thus far behind him.  I think the final tally of character faces I had was like fifty-four or so?  I wasn't keeping an exact count.  Save like two of them they were all drawn from scratch with rigorous referencing to my own art to make sure they were on model, so it actually took a lot longer than I had anticipated it taking.  Hopefully they're all recognizable.

I didn't really consider putting any story focus on this at all, I mean, what's there to tell?  But I thought it might be fun to go over some characters who haven't seen much focus thus far and give some insight into what they've been doing since we last saw them.

Aunt May
Peter continued living with his aunt for the first year of college before living in the dorms for his second.  As far as Peter can tell she's not aware of his dual life as Spider-man at all.  While she was retired at the time of Ben's passing, she was counting on Ben's money at the time and started working at Martin Li's homeless shelters as an assistant manager to support herself.  When Peter isn't busy he helps her out at the shelter.  May's home life has been pretty lonely since Peter left, and under her friend Anna Watson's suggestion she's started looking into dating again.

Betty Brant
It was Norman Osborn and Lily Hollister's machinations that got Kingsley arrested to begin with, but it was evidence brought to light by Betty Brant's investigation into Kingsley after he had Ned Leeds killed that ultimately sealed Kingsley's fate and had him imprisoned for his murder along other Hobgoblin related crimes.  Upon hearing this she was hired back at the Daily Bugle, but not as a secretary--nope, now she was a full blown professional journalist, just as she had wanted.

Mark Allan/Molten Man
After Spider-man stopped him from killing the Kingpin he was brought to Ravencroft Institute to help him.  His condition seemed to be completely irreversible, and as such it didn't seem like criminals would be able to take advantage of him like that again.  Ashley Kafka helped him come to terms with his new existence, and he was actually freed from the institute due to continued good behavior, but the feds did not want him walking around public without caretakers, and as such he was placed under the "surveillance" of his sister, Liz Allan, at her new company, Allan Chemical.  They had a suit constructed for him to contain his immense heat, and was given a job as a security advisor.

Beetle
Peter never successfully caught the mercenary he called "the Beetle" who had been stealing equipment from Oscorp (later revealed to be for Osborn himself at the Scriers), and the man seemed to disappear into the ether, but in a bust led by Spider-woman (Jessica Drew) during her agent days, she caught the schematics to the suit being sold at a black market auction in Europe that buyers of the Master Planner had been in.

John Jameson/Man-Wolf
John never reverted back to his Man-Wolf form after the initial incident--as far as anyone could tell, the StarGOD metal had actually completely purged the wolf cells from his body.  He made a quick recovery at Ravencroft and went back to NASA, urging his government superiors to keep the StarGOD genie in its lamp, but he was too late--the recipe for creating the unstable alloy had leaked to the public while he was in Ravencroft.

Jean DeWolff
I mentioned that DeWolff had learned Spider-man's secret identity, but I never really mentioned the how or why--it was actually in the aftermath of the showdown that ended up in the Kangaroo, Tinkerer, and Hammerhead being arrested.  In the fight Peter was grazed by a stray bullet from the Punisher on his left calf.  DeWolff saw him limping off from the battle, bleeding, and, as thanks for all he had done, caught up to him and got him medical attention.  While this did allow the Punisher to escape, Peter was of course thankful, and she got him to reveal who he was on the promise she would not arrest him.

Robert Farrell/Rocket Racer
When the Outlaws were shuttered for good following the Vulture II incident agent Robert Farrell retired from Carpenter's agency entirely, he'd had enough of that nonsense.

Lonnie Lincoln/Tombstone
I mentioned it in passing, but Tombstone was originally a leg breaker working for the Kingpin who received his powers from an experiment by Octavius and Osborn, payed for by the Kingpin.  The procedure that granted him super human strength and durability also required turning off every pain receptor in his body--he is literally incapable of feeling pain.  Unfortunately for the Kingpin, however, Tombstone bolted and decided to make it his own way, which led to Lincoln's old partner in crime Flint Marko being turned into the Sandman.

After he was arrested at the end of the Black Suit saga he was actually content to finish his prison sentence in peace but ended up being freed by Mister Negative's Inner Demons without asking.  As thanks to the Inner Demons for turning him into a wanted fugitive without his permission, Tombstone killed them and is currently missing.

I think that sums up the ones I wanted to touch upon.

akhenaten i think i would go full cosmic horror in his design, basically almost unrecognizable as a human.

i'd push the biological freak angle on the ani-men much more than they were going with.  like true abominations.

i really have no idea on wundarr the aquarian, but his design reminds me of hippies so i might push that kinda flower child look on him.

might put drom in some sort of full containment suit to control his de-aging.
