Tricksy little picture. It makes you think it's a collage at first, and then after further inspection, you realize all the patches belong to the same picture. Well, I like it, it's interesting.

Interesting concept, although I am not sure how much I can appreciate the slight overuse of filters. Nice work nonetheless.

the composition and use of color is amazing! but the look in the eyes...shows depression, maybe sadness

*Ti-a iesit foarte bine.Poza emana o stara de tristete pura , nu trebuie sa o privesti de multe ori ca sa iti dai seama ca si tu ca om te-ai simtit asa la un moment dat.Portretul este expresiv,modelul e ales bine.
*Make-up`ul accentueaza starea de tristete, e chiar ceva intre like and dislike.Incadrarea e iarasi buna si da o tenta de nou in ale portretelor clasice care deja sunt suprasaturate.
Daca ne-am gandi la un punct de interes poate ar trebui ca acela sa fie ochii, insa punand un accesoriu, iese orecum in evidenta ca un al doilea punct sau ceva comun.
*Segmentarea il face un pic cam monoton atenuand insa ceea ce exprima,monotonie indusa de folosirea patratelor.
*Culori: acestea individualizeaza fiecare patrat nelasand sa formeze un intreg.Bineinteles un portret e tot o compozitie avand la baza figura umana,deci ele ar trebui sa aiba ceva comun, iar tu ai folosit texturi diferite pt fiecare , contrastul din partea de sus dreapta ii da o expresivitate anume dar daca ai privi lucrarea cu ochii intredeschisi ai vedea ca intensitatea acelei pete albe nu se mai regaseste niciunde, faramitand oarecum continutul.
Simplitatea e intotdeauna de preferat in locul unei lucrari prea complicate care oboseste ochiul
*Ai grija totusi la dimensiunea patratelor,si in special la punctul de unire(doua patrate alaturate ar trebui sa aiba aceeasi inaltime).
*Mai ai de lucrat la simetrie ... in special la zonele de lumina/umbra si incearca sa nu "tai" poza intr-o parte sau alta.
E o simpla parere , am incercat sa iti arat unde ai gresit si ce ai facut bine.Sper ca te vor ajuta cu ceva aceste randuri

This very much gives me a feel of psyche on the verge of fragmentation, someone who's trying to be too many different things for too many other people . . . and held together only by sheer, desperate will. I can see that in the pleading eyes and the colors and patterns below them.
But then again, I could be viewing it entirely wrong

again, the reason I didn't put it under photomanipulation is because I only used color adjustments and filters.
I don't know exactly what I was feeling and thinking when I took the picture and did this, but I like your interpretation of it, I guess everyone sees different things in it.

Just changing the color only applies to one color change -- you've got multiple, plus patterns added -- which adds up to a photomanipulation
And no two people view the same piece of art the same way -- 'tis why the old saying is always true, "You can please some of the people some of the time, but you can't please all of the people all of the time"
