I have this headcanon that Fili and Kili’s father is not part of nobility, but actually a common blacksmith…or leathersmith… he works with his hands.
In the image:
Dis has received expensive gifts all her life, but this small pendant, made by the very hands that presented it, was probably the most touching of all.
