I love FMA AU's where Edward and Alphonse are actually half Ishbalan! And I especially love those where you can see both races mixed, though I'm still not sure which βmixed heritageβ Ed I like more:
Red eyes + blonde hair
gray hair + amber eyes

Hmmm.... of the two, I think I like the the bottom one the best. It's a bit more colorful, and the red eyes show Ed as Ishvallan more easily, imho.

plus some Amestrian could have grey hair, but no oen but Ishvalans can have red eyes!
