Graphic designer Kyle Rayner was handed the most powerful weapon in the universe in an alley by a blue midget. No, it was not a smurf, it was a Guardian of the Universe, and from then on, Kyle, became Green Lantern of sector 2814. He now goes by the name Ion and is supposed to be more powerful than before.
