Description I always wanted to do one of these and after finally getting inspired I decided to start with gengar.
I will probably do gastly and haunter too.

- - - -

-Purebreed: The classic gengar, loves to trick people, but gets incredibly loyal to their trainer after spending time with them; it's the most loved between the ghost fanatics and is more suited for fights. It's the most common breed

-Sentinel: Crossed with wobbuffet, it makes an excellent guard and gets even more bonded with the trainer; being as they aren't very good at fights nor in contests, they are more used as night guards for warehouses and such; they don't need too much training as they are naturally predisposed for this kind of work. It's an uncommon breed.

-Gentleman: Crossed with swalot, this classy breed is vastly used in contests and beauty competitions, this kind of gengar is really prideful and loves showcasing themselves and can become quite spoiled if the trainer doesn't pay attention; they are also terribly glutton and can eat up to four times in a day. It's a common breed in Sinnoh and Hoenn.

-Puppet: Crossed with banette, It's suited for fight and contests alike, depending on their training; however they aren't as popular as the gentleman breed because of their unpredictable behavior; only skilled trainers are allowed to keep them since bad training and discipline can lead to a dangerous pokemon. It's a rare breed in most of the regions.

-Royal sand: crossed with palossand, this is a breed that goes well in battle, but surprisingly prefers relaxing and playing on the beach at night, there are few reports of this cross as it has just started to get in the spotlight; it's quite a good gengar and ghost pokemon that goes well with younger trainers, but it still requires a level of skill to train like all the ones of their kind, keeping the classic trickster personality. it's one of the rarest breeds, a bit more diffused in Alola.

-Chime: Crossed with chimecho, It's one of the sweetest breeds of gengar and makes an excellent therapeutic companion after some training to teach them to regulate their natural prankster behavior; They don't have particular skills for battle and while they're pretty cute they doesn't like crowded places like the contests arenas, so they are mostly used as nurses and therapy pokemons. It's one of the most common breeds, especially in hoenn.

-Cursed: Crossed with spiritomb, It's the most wild and dangerous known breed; this combination usually drags out the worst of gengar's personality, it takes an insane amount of time and effort to tame one. Due to these problems it's actually illegal to breed one, the ones that are around are from illegal markets and such; every time one is found it gets confiscated if the trainer who owns them is proven to not be able to properly tame them and is usually given to skilled ghost trainers, however sometimes if the previous owner and the pokemon seem to have somehow bonded the first one is allowed to partecipate to the gengar's training till the end and then gets them back. It's the rarest breed out of all.

-Shocker: Crossed with eelectross, it's a pretty neutral breed that goes well in all the fields, but it's usually used by explorers; they can be easily trained to help light up places like caves or to recharge batteries and other supplies, plus they are quite big and double also as guardians; they are usually trained by Ghost specialists and then go back to their trainers who are usually researchers; the only inconvenient is that the love to prank with electricity and there is no training that can make them stop. It's an uncommon breed.

-Blobber: Result of excessive breeding and inbreeding with ditto, these gengars usually came from breeding mills, who are illegal, and are one of the most innocue breeds; these gentle pokemons still have all the usual purebreed features, but much more softened; much like the cursed kind, the blobber is illegal; in this case however is for the own good of the pokemon that usually end up abandoned, or worse, by the breeders. When one of these buddies is found they usually end up in care centers and then get adopted by pokemon centers or even families as it's known that most of the blobber breeds (the ones of other pokemon species) are wonderful with children. It's a rare breed, but sadly their numbers are increasing.
