Description Lots, lots, and lots of pokemon doodles
Since I don't have much time to work on fully digital stuff, I decided to clean up some traditional drawings I made on my notebook since around October.
i'm trying to work on my style for pokemon and animals in general.
And yes, I made a lot of object pokes into invertebrates, and geodude into a frog.

Edit: now that I have a bit more time I figured I could go back and add a bit more headcanons:

- There are female tauros, they are just rare (same thing with female braviary, throh, sawk ecc). Most tauros have fur around their necks, but the ones living in hot climates such as Alola don't.
- Purugly is just a fat cat. The tail splits in two, but the spine doesn't quite follow up, the bone turns into cartilage; contrary to popular belief, they can NOT wrap it around their waist completely.
- Bewear front arms are way longer than the average bear pokemon (ursaring, snorlax ecc); they can walk for a bit on their hind legs, but prefer walking on all four most of the time.
- Umbreon, and the rest of the eevee family (yes, even espeon), are neither cats or dogs, they're fennec foxes, and are very close to the fennekin line.
- Dugtrio is not just a bunch of heads, it has a body just like any other pokemon, domesticated ones frequently get out of the ground to interact with their trainers. Alolan dugtrio's fur isn't naturally styled, but most trainers will trim and style their dugtrio's fur themselves.
- Igglybuff and cleffa are both a kind of hamsters/rabbits.
- Pikachu is a kind of gerbil with long ears, not a rabbit.
- Same thing for marill, the two families are actually quite close, marill used to be called "the blue pikachu" or "pikablu".
- Ampharos has cloven hooves on its hands, the fingers can move indipendently from each other, their ability to grab things is very limited, though.
- Voltorb and electrode are round slugs that can float thanks to magnetism/static electricity.
- Chimeco and chingling are a kind of cuttlefish that has adapted to float and live on land, as such they have lungs, not gills.
- Same exact thing for honedge. these pokemon are born with a protective cover around the blade portion of their shell, that detaches after the first few weeks of life (they have to grind off the bumps left from the connection points between blade and sheat). If a honedge loses the guard, it won't have it has it evolves; and if it gets to aegislash stage, it won't have a shield. Doublades without a sheat will "hold hands" to avoid getting separated.
- Tentacruel is a kind of squid, not a jellyfish
- Geodude and family are toads, they have very small limbs that develop later with evolution; however they lose the second pair after they evolve into golem.
- Natu is a bird
