Welcome one and all to a brand Green Day Comic (FINALLY).
This one's short, sweet, and to the point: a little gag on how Billie Joe did
such a good job quitting his addiction in the past year, how he's changed
for the better (I'm seriously proud of him in every way for it), and how he
now (fictionally) has a new addiction he's alluded to in Rolling Stone: root beer.
Of course, this is in no way trying to take away his accomplishment. I thought
that now would be a good time to joke about it and put it all behind us since he's
gotten so much better. It's true that I have not seen him smile bigger, perform with
more enthusiasm, or love what he's doing this much since he came back. I almost
feel like we have a fresh, new Billie Joe with a passion for his work and an infinite
love for his fans-- even thrice the amount than ever before. Hence, this comic
is humorous, but teasing in such a way because we love him so.

I've said it before and I'll say it again: We're so proud of you, Billie Joe!
... And we love you... SO much! Keep on rockin' or asses off!
Just know that I am so proud and honored to call you my hero.
