This is absolutely brilliant. It's ingenious! I'm staring at this photograph, marvelling at its beauty and clever use of reflection and wondering why in hell it only has 35 favourites and 50 comments! The colors and composition caught my eye and made me like it from first glance but after full viewing and reading your description, I realized just how carefully composed it truly is. There is nothing random about this composition and the way the glass reflects the beautiful lines in multiple places is fantastic. This is an immediate favourite. I have to tell you, I'm near-sighted, and one of the ways I analyze art is to take off my glasses and let the colors and values blur together. Once everything becomes just areas of dark and light, it's really easy to tell what's strong about the composition and whether or not it's appealing. It's like squinting for most people. And when I take off my glasses for this piece, it becomes a visual cacophony of shapes, a jubilee of contrasting values, a gorgeous mesh of blue and light yellow. I would definitely hang this on my wall and I just want to commend you for really captivating my attention like that. It's difficult to sell me so completely on an image.

I love this part of London too. The curves are very appealing. It's an area thats well though out when they designed it.

wow. it's awesome.
Love the whole thing. Nice job with the reflection, and then the building gives a good tilty effect, and then the wonderful cityscape in the back above the bit of water. Love the lights on the trees, the billboard/poster things, in the building, on the water. All set in the twilight.

I'm afraid I can't really tell you the name of the building, only I know it was part of the 'More London' redevelopment of the area when the GLA came and parked their butts around there. [link]
Most of the buildings around that area were designed by Sir Norman Foster and his company, Fosters and Partners.
London is a Foster whore. Stick 'London' in the project search engine on his site and see the whole list.
