great shot, you managed to mix a conventionnal building night shot with a conventionnal urban people shot and make a highly unconventionnal photograph out of it. it's a beautiful urban landscape and it's something happening in it. that's what makes this shot so good... well that and the london cab

Shooting at 1600 ISO... did you do some post-processing noise reduction?

What a beautiful feeling. It feels so serene, but some-what busy. I love the picture, it seems perfect at night, as if it was sleeping all day. (:

You like shadows and silhouettes huh? You like funny angles too don't ya? Looks cool, I like odd angles like this and bright lights. Like how she's standing too with her camera.

This shot is wonderfully composed and I love the detail you got in the buildings. Is it on 0mm because you used a screwmount lens? I've seen other people ask this question and I know when I use screwmount lenses with an adaptor I get a focal length of 0mm and a funky aperture.

All in all, this is a nice piece. No matter how you did it!

Keep up the great work!

whatever about the lights, lines and tones. (which are all great)
what i like though is how *passacaglia looks like she's taking a photo herself, in the most care-free, relaxed way possible

I still will never understand how you get the sharpness you get.

Focal Length: 0 mm?? is that an error?

Redandwhite In reply to movieaddict [2006-08-31 18:04:33 +0000 UTC]

its because he uses a digital SLR! and the 350D, even being entry level, still is nearly as good as the 20D
