Been re-watching Ghost in the Shell lately, and the idea came to me that if my Nightbird was humanized, she would probably look a lot like the Major...and it also works with the whole cyber ninja = human cop thing the show did with Prowl. So I did a little sketch and naturally I wound up doing all three of my main cast in their human forms.
Ehhh...Prowl's 'stash...it burns my eyes, but it's canon so...dang.

Yeah, the unique style is my favorite thing about TFA, but there are aspects of it that I still don't get quite right. It just takes practice. ^^ Using the artbooks as a reference really helps too.

yeah i normally use my tfa coloring book as a reference like i do with the movie tfs. but i wish there was a better pic of prowl in there, id love to try to draw prowl in the new transformers prime style, given that a arcee's form is ripped off of his design, i could probally use her as reference

I haven't attempted drawing in 'TF: Prime' style yet. I really love the aesthetic though; it combines the complexities of the live-action-movie style with the more sleek designs of TFA. Prowl does have a design for 'Prime' already though, he's supposedly going to appear in the show eventually. His appearance is based more off of his G1-self, but with a visor similar to the one he had in TFA.

wow looks great, they even added his signature shoulder rockets! im anxious to see what theyre going to do to thundercracker and the dinobots, both are supose to appear in season 2

I've been pretty underwhelmed by 'Prime' thus far, so I'm hoping that with the introduction of these fan-favorite 'bot characters the show will be a bit more interesting.

Yeah, I agree, Prowl's "official" human design just doesn't fit the character at all. I've seen lots of fan-made versions that are so much better.

beautiful job! and i do have to agree, CN made epic FAIL when they did his holoform. he seems too cop-ish instead of ninja-ish, and yes, his mustache burns my eyes too.

He might be a Ninja, but he is also a Polic Motorcycle. So the Cop makes a whole lot of sense.

Yeah, I wasn't one for the stash either. I was gonna do a comic later where my TFA OC shaves Prowl's stash and takes away his helmet.

Very cool! The cartoony style you used on these guys is just fabulous. I love how loose and fluid it is! You can especially notice this around the legs. They're an element I look for and admire in stylized pictures. Nice work, Casey! :>

Thank you! I do enjoy the animated style, the fact that it's so loose is the best part. You don't need to follow anatomy by the letter and "squash and stretch" is really fun to play around with.
