Well, here we are. New redesign of the boy, new avatar to match!

It's interesting how little has really changed about him yet how different his energy is as a result. I mean, just compare with the last full drawing of him:

- His snout now angles sharply up instead of curving

- His cheek spikes are bigger

- His first hair thing curls around higher, above his eye

- His eyes have angles at the sides instead of being rounded

- The eyebrows are different, but at the moment I'm not sure how they'd look in a neutral position

- As for the body, he has visible claws now and his tail is bigger and a slightly different shape

And there's the updated colour scheme with new markings of course. These really are all quite small tweaks aside from the latter, but like I said... different energy. When I posted the redesign in Discord and started showing WIPs of this, everyone started hitting on him. Which was, uh... new. (I certainly can't disagree that he do be kinda handsome tho.)

Oh, and I'm still discovering Clip Studio Paint. This week Linzer gushes about: the vector system! You can draw your lineart with an intuitive vector tool that's really easy to control and includes AMAZING quality of life features like A) being able to change the line thickness after the fact (which I used for the actual avatar version of this), B) having an eraser setting to automatically snip off loose lines up to where they intersect, and C) having a fill tool setting to automatically fill right up to vector lines! I'm totally serious when I say it's MILES better than Photoshop for drawing with, for the QoL features alone!!

Anyway, uh... seeya in 2022 I guess!
