Description
Original: Spike and Rarity DatingWhen I saw this charming cartoon by the sometimes funny, other times very scary I had to colour it. It was a slight challenge, though, because some of the panels were in deep shadow and it was hard to preserve the integrity of the original lines. Overall, though, I'm very happy with the result.

He's 8 years younger at most than Twilight, who is in her early 20's, so he's probably in his mid-teens or so.

I like to think that dragons dwelm in their eggs for several years before busting out. After all, dragons grow to be extremely older than ponies.
So I guess if you want to take my hypothesis as true, then we only have to decide if the years of growth in an egg counts.
Also, one thing that kinda buggs me and I want answered is:
- If Spike was hatched by magic, and not by himself like any other egg would.
Does that mean he is growing... wrong? Like he was hatched too early?
Anyway, how do you like this hypothesis? (I may be using wrong words because of bad English)

The pacing is spot-on.
I could actually see this happening after a harrowing adventure... maybe even the 'Nightmarity' arc in the the IDW comics.
