cool, i thought the lower part was incomplete and then i noticed the faint 'veins' (?) that are there. Is it completely digital?

No, not completely. It's built around that middle part with the woman and the green bubbly background, which is traditional. Categorizing such things is kind of difficult. My own standards are that if something has more than just some minor digital touch-ups, it goes into the "digital art" category.

I LOVE the contrast between the detailed butterfly wings and the pencil-like figure. It is wonderful how they merge together with the light blue lines that could be roots or maybe water plants and how it seems like all 4 elements were represented here in a perfect harmony.
