I really like the colors and patterns running across her face. Very nice idea. The eyes really stand out. I like that. They look alive. The pale skin, the brown hair, it all goes very well together with the orange. Nice work!

is it speed paint by any chance? de curiozitate,how long did it take to draw it?
i love it's simplicity and that orange pattern.in timp ce se incarca imaginea,stateam si citeam the comment.A mouthful of orange. chiar ma intrebam what is up with you and orange,pentru ca it doesn't really seem like your color.
oh,and i love the tittle as well better than seeing some random association of japanese words,like yume hime kirei hana and so on.i get really pissed off when i see those

It is. The face took about 1 hour of idle painting, and I messed with the pattern more, but only because I didn't know what I wanted. Just playing around, ya know.

The hair is very nicely done! The splash --I know it's orange-- makes me think of blood. Maybe it's the wet edges effect?
