Hee, and then Robin makes a break for it and KF can't snap out of his stupor fast enough to stop him and it's ridiculous how Robin is seemingly able to outrun a flash. Truly. Though for the next little bit Robin doesn't have to outrun him so much as out-hide and stay under the radar in their headquarters, all with the rest none the wiser, telling KF that "yeah, he was just here" much to his aggravation. And when it's getting difficult to hide out there Robin heads back to Gotham for some 'batfamily thing'. Truly the fact that KF is trying so hard to find him and is being stubborn about it instead of letting it go and pretending it didn't happen so things could go back to normal should be a sign rather than the very reason why Robin is still avoiding him.
And one of the other Bats like batgirl or even Catwoman (because she's one of the ones who's able to pull off the 'sometimes good/bad' mindfrikery) over in the corner (corner being Gotham, where mild patrolling is happening where KF hasn't dared/been able to tread after the first three times trying to track Robin there unsuccessfully and getting sent back with a BatGlare a'la Batman) being all "I thought you were a Bat, wonder-boy. Bats don't run, even if you're terrified." "Bats don't get terrified." an indulgent smile, Isis purring on her shoulder and bumping her head against Robin's fingers when he absentmindedly goes for a pet. "You're right birdie. They get the girl. So go and get 'em, kiddo." and helping him man-up and show up at base again where no-one else seems to have really noticed anything going on.
There could also be Alfred or Batman himself weighing in, in widely different ways. Batman's being silence while they're patrolling before or after KF shows up and gets sent back and Robin comes out of an exhaust vent of the building, and Alfred's being an anecdote of some sort and cookies.
He's actually a couple days of being back at the base normally and not skulking around avoiding KF (he's always been good at hiding in vents) that he actually runs into him again, completely on accident.
The sudden surprise has him startled, after so many days of being on edge and waiting for it; so it's understandable that he doesn't act first which gives KF time to get surprised himself that Robin's finally really there and drop the roll of cookie-dough on the counter half-unwrapped, say "Robin" and corner him against the cabinets, kissing him before Robin can even blink. Some talking, more making out, and definitely Robin going "You were still an idiot." and KF responding "Yeah well I think this whole week has been you being an idiot." And Robin won't admit it, but he's kinda glad that KF was right, and that there was nothing he'd needed to protect himself from.
Aaaaand that was fun. Whoopsie. XD
