Description
This is the Glamis burn, just oposite St Fergus' well, within the grounds of the castle where the queen mother grew up and where the Earl of Strathmore still lives.

This particular spot is thought to have been an important place for thousands of years due to it being a meeting place of three waters, considered sacred all over Britain. I don't know a lot about the well it's self, which was directly behind me when I took this from a small island of wild mint, but it was lovely looking water!

I'd actually intended to re shoot this composition in the winter frosts or with some mist, but upon returning I found they'd cut down most of the trees so it's not going to be anything like this again for a few years Instead I'll just post this one I took in the summer, not what I was after but I've always liked it regardless!
