Description CORINLOPHUS - The Sedimentary Pokemon -

(ROCK / WATER)

SKILL: Water Absorb
HIDDEN: Rock Head

FOSSIL: Cornet Fossil

UNPOLOPHUS -> level 40 -> CORINLOPHUS

Corinlophus is one of the prehistoric pokemon, recently discovered in the Maohi region. The beautiful Corinlophus lived in large matriarchal groups, in lakes and rivers near the tropical forests. They were distinguishable from the other ancestor pokemon, by the unique coloration in the form of waves in their skin. The body temperature of a Corinlophus was cool and slightly frosty, which could be felt in all the environment where they were. These pokemon were excellent scuba divers and could reach great depths without being affected by underwater pressure. The temperament of the Corinlophus was docile but in danger, the group was quick to spin thanks to its considerably high speed. Maohi scientists discovered many fossil specimens of Corinlophus in ancient rocks, and were successful in the process of de-extinction.

I don't mean to be rude, but it does kinda just look like a Parasaurolophus. Doesn't really seem like a pokemon to me.

I would love to have Nintendo take a look and give you the privilege and credit of your pokemon, but I have no contact with the company, Sorry I won't do it again.

The crest should make moves like Hyper Voice, Synchronoise, and Uproar powerful.

They don't really take ideas like that, I mean if he can somehow manage to have a one on one talk with like Ken Sugimori or Shigeru Ohmori (Note: Neither of them speak English, they speak pure unadulterated Japanese) then maybe he could talk them in to adding his PokΓ©mon into the games

Well, there's some hope

There's been one Non-Japanese person that's designed 11 out the 800 PokΓ©mon out there, his name is James Turner. He made 7 PokΓ©mon for Black and White, 2 for XY and 2 for Sun and Moon (The two were Ultra Beasts). He's from Britain and now, he works for Gamefreak. He's been an Art Director for several mainstream Nintendo games, like PokΓ©mon, Megaman stuff like that....He's an unsung hero in a way.

So yeah, he's the only one at the moment, if he can do it, some other guy or girl has a shot to, being Second Place isn't bad.

Modern research has shown that the this kind of dinosaur wasn't really a scuba diver and the crest is more of a surce of brass sound.Β Β

I gotta agree with ethan on this one,not only for the realism but for many other reasons.
First of all,we have WAY too much water fossils.There's kabutops,omastar,carracosta,and some people say nintendo is releasing a mosasaur pokemon(?) one day.
Third,parasaurolophus simply dosen't fit with a aquatic enviroment,I'd say a grass/rock parasaurolophus would be WAY,WAY better.
