They still have no plans to even bother.... Matsuda is the anti-Sakurai: one works himself too hard to please the fans, and the other half assed the biggest franchise ever and ignores the backlash it got.

yea, tomorrow is going to be filled with a lot of regretful loyal fans more than likely. cause even with this leak some ignorant people are still thinking it's nothing.

the "thankyougamefreak" tag is really not helping either, they shouldn't be encouraged to be lazy

I was already on my way out because of the removal of field moves, so this might be my last official pokemon game until they fix things.
Mostly getting it because the camping should give me something positive to end on instead of the unpleasant experience Rotomdexs Kindergarten pokemon adventure was.

Don't get your hopes up sadly... Matsuda's extremely stubborn and says that the team has zero intentions of even trying to bring back all the pokes no matter the console strength. Nintendo could make a new console that is stronger than a playstation and an xbox combined and gamefreak will still claim it's not strong enough. When really they've been showing a lot of incompetence in coding, especially when you realize they treat the 3D models like a stop motion film and cram the data with multiples of the same character with different faces. No seriously that's how sun and moon's cutscenes worked, there was a different Lillie [and by extension the other characters] for every location...

It's completely bizarre to me that we can get over 80 complex mostly unique fighters and over 100 stages in smash ultimate, but when it comes to pokemon, they just can't bother to even try anymore....

Honestly i'm just saving my money up for better things than an overpriced game that has less content than freaking gen 4 onwards. No joke, Gen 4 has more pokemon than gen 8 does pokedex wise...

I only got it because by the time the news broke about how bad it was my predownload was finished and my switch was at my friend's house for the week. So too late to get a refund.
I'm still hoping to find fun from the camping stuff, though, assuming they fix that weird bug first.

I knew it wasn't going to be worth buying the moment Matsuda opened his mouth at E3 about the national dex thing, at first i found it concerning but then i found it absolutely not worth it when the devs said they wouldn't do a thing about it even after the massive backlash. seeing the leaks also was enough to confirm it wasn't worth it
