Beautiful.
I still get so misty eyed when I see anything of Michael Clarke.Β  He was a true gentle giant and it was because of his role as John Coffey that I always had a thing for gentle giants.Β

True...Β  The outside doesn't mean near so much as a kind heart.

Ah, yes.
The outside he looked like the kind of guy who probably could crush a man's skull with one hand, but inside he's as gentle as a kitten and as sensitive as child.Β  That's my kind of guy.

I need to adopt your plan. As you can probably tell from my title (and blog), Procrastination and I have a long and storied past.

Procrastination for me was more about fear than laziness. One of my art professors gave a good piece of advice about perfectionism in art. You have to temper perfectionism with a freeing type of "I don't care attitude" It's not that you dont care thats the problem... the trouble for a perfectionist is they care too much.

Couldn't agree more. Perfectionism is definitely something my sweetie Alisha suffers from. Though I think is shows in her work. [link]

She does some great work. What I find is that when I procrastinate I miss out on producing the volume of work and expression.... remember how prolific Picasso was? Volume is not the goal, but really enjoying the process should be part of the drive here.

I do enjoy the writing process, the problem I struggle with is the "prolific," part. I have a lot of great stories swimming in my head, but sometimes its difficult to find the time to put them to paper (virtual or otherwise). I admire artist/writers like yourself that are able, to barrow from a Nike ad, to Just Do It!
