Description standing 8 or 9 inches tall this is a very small Owl, encountered in the wild might I add. I needed to get pretty close to this bird for any close ups... she let me get 3 feet close for this image.

lol... well... actually s/he really was trying to sleep. I was keeping him/her awake.

I have one photo where the eyes are closed, but the eyes were just cracked open so s/he could watch me.

i guess its a good thing u know.. capture an owl in this condition.. i love seeing animals/ birds in different emotions and feelings ^_^

Oh my gosh! We used to have burrowing owls, but all the construction chased them away. This is a great photo. I love the angle and everything! Awesome job!
