Vancouver skyline taken July 15, 2015 Once upon a time the Mountains would tower of the buildings. Now the skyline is blocking the view of the mountains. oh well that progress for ya!Related content

oh yes, this is exeptional. In a lot of countries in Europe mountains are usually on the opposite side of the country than the water (sea).
So I always thought it was impossible to have them both in the same place. But I think it's common in North America, especially on the Western coast.

Yes it is, but only in the Pacific North-West area. the father south you get the more flat it gets or so I have been told.

Thanks for the kind words. I was surprised that it turned out pretty good considering I took the photos with a old windows 7 phone and without a tripod. The reason it came out so good was due to adobe light room & photo shop that real saved it.
