why thank you kindly.
I have to say that your collages have had a bit of an influence--- especially my use of random words and such. so thanks!

I like the way that you spilt up the composition. Repetition is used well too.

thanks.. it's been strange to watch the devisation of my beloved city. Its a relief to finally see some headway being made today with the relief effort and the the repairing of the levee breaches. As selfish as this sounds, I am quite happy that the french quarter and garden district did not get the type of flooding that the majority of the city did. The city will be rebuilt. It will continue. It will just take time.

good to see you taking it so well! i hope at least that the disaster focuses attention on this country's neglected infrastructure.

can the brother give me an AMEN!
it's been funny to watch Bush out touring and interacting with people-- making speeches all on his own. He was speaking at Louis Armstrong Intnl airport today and the Governor of Louisiana had to keep wispering the names of a couple of parishes to him.

this whole situation is just sad. the way our government dragged their feet. Im sure things were slowed down a bit just by the natural shock of the severity of the devistation. But that only buys one day at the most. As of I wasnt already embarassed to be an american now we have this to add to the pile. Our big rich bully of a country unable to even tend to the poor and flooded out. I think this should be a wake up call. That people should start holding the administration accountable. Talk about humbling. Talk about bringing a super power to it's knees.

a lot of the textures in my work come from the selective use of the burning tool with some fun brushes-- im trying to enhance some of the textures already in the images i use.

this is probably going to sound weird (considering it's my deviation) but i never really thought about those lines and circles and words being thoughts from the men-- they were just a design element that just seemed to work.
lol.
