The "NO" is my favorite part. RESISTANCE! When you change, people always want you to go back to the way you were.

indeed art is therapy. i noticed how dark and emotional this piece was becoming and i just let it flow through me.
and luckily the end results were pleasing to my eyes (all 3 of them)
(i didnt notice that typo until this afternoon-- thank zeus for the 'edit deviation' button)
(thats what i get for submitting something while trying to get dressed for work)
id love to have a secret handshake.. but i cant get my hand to push through the monitor.
so i guess ill just have to shake my own hand in a secret way.
(hopefully i wont accuse myself of inappropriately touching myself)

yep! thats the way it works! i dont tend to do that portion until the text part of my work. thats when i let it loose! hooray!

im not sure where the emotion was coming from... this piece definitely took on a life of it's own while i was working on it.. i tapped into something i needed to purge.

this piece is very dark.... I wasnt in a dark mood when I was working on it.. but I was definitely purging something through my artwork.

digital has me in it's grasp as well... i can create and put things together in ways that would be difficult with natural media. one of the best purchases i made was a graphics tablet-- it allows much more control and easier use when working in photoshop.
tho sometimes i miss the smell of linseed oil and turpentine.
