i have no idea who created the original. found it in an old magazine from the 1950's
i think it was trying to illustrate some sort of optical illusion for kids to entertain themsevles wiht-- not like there was much else to do in the 50's what with McCarthyism and the Edsel.

strange, I know those are sign language alphabet hand shapes but some fail to register. either they are foreign, outdated or at an unreadable angle. I have provided my best conclusions.

i found a font called 'hand signs'-- thats what i used and i spelled out 'fun with fingers'

I was right, this is a different alphabet then I learned
H, G, and T are difefrent if nothing else
T (in american sign language[the only good one]) has your hand in a fist with your thumb between your pointing and middle fingers...
G has pointer finger positioned horizontally with thumb behind it
H has both middle and pointer out horizontally with thumb behind

i really should be put away somewhere and heavily drugged (tho with the fun ones, not the sedatives. im not a big fan of sitting in chair for 10 hours and drooling. (well that is unless im watching a hot boy strip.. lolololololol ))
