If I could live all of my days upon the ocean shore,
My heart would swell with deeping joy, till it could hold no more.

And when it overflowed and broke, much larger it would mend,
And then, the ocean’s deeping joy would fill it once again.

We’re at the Oregon Coast this weekend. This is a watercolor sketch of the view from my balcony. I never was any great at water or watercolors used like watercolors. But I feel wonderful and peaceful at the ocean, and I don’t care! I wrote the doggerel that goes with it this morning. May you all feel as at one with the universe as I do now.
