"Pitch. I think you might be overreacting..." Jack said as he snuggled up to a slightly aggravated nightmare king.
"Oh sure I'm certain the Guardians would be perfectly ok with the young and innocent Jack Frost being coerced into a fling with the Nightmare King." Pitch said with an aggravated pout on his face.
"Ok first, young and innocent? I'm frozen at 18 if they really thought I was that innocent then they are just thick. Second, coerced? I was the one who asked you out. Or did you forget about the week you had me pretty much plastered to your backside."
"I -still- have you plastered to my backside. And just because you were the one who initiated this relationship does not mean the guardians will see it that way. They'll probably think that I somehow -made- you feel this way. And at that point they will proceed to kill me in the most painful way they can possibly think of."
"Jeez more like drama king..." Jack muttered. "Seriously Pitch. It's not like they wont find out sooner or later."
"Yes and I would they find out later so I can enjoy life in one piece rather than hundreds..." Jack rolled his eyes. This wasn't exactly the first time they had this conversation but for some reason Jack was more than determined to get Pitch to agree.
"Yeah definitely overreacting. Pitch they aren't going to eat you, jeez. And if they try anything I will be there. Please?" Pitch just looked away, falling silent. "Pitch?" The nightmare king still didn't respond. Wich caused Jack to worry. It wasn't like Pitch to be so silent. He always had some witty remark for every argument. Sitting up he looked down at his lover who was obviously lost in thought. Jack could practically see Pitch arguing with himself. "Pitch. I really think we should tell them." Jack said, gently pulling Pitch out of his thoughts. "If for no other reason than because you don't want to. Just to show you that everything will be okay." Pitch looked like he was going to argue but instead sighed deeply.
"All right Jack... Have it your way."

Pitch and Jack stood outside North's workshop. They both knew that all of the guardians were there. It was after all the day after Easter. There was always a celebration at the end of a holiday. The nightmare king and the guardian of fun stood hand in hand, mentally preparing themselves for what they were about to do.
"Are you ready?" Jack asked. Pitch hesitated.
"No..." He said his hand slipping away from Jack's. "I can't do this... I'm sorry."
"Pitch... What is it. What are you so afraid of?" After a very long silence Pitch answered.
"What if they try to keep you away from me? I-I don't think I could deal with that..." Jack smiled gently at his lover.
"Pitch I promise you that if they attempt anything like that, I will stay by your side no matter what. I will never let them separate us." Pitch smiled back at the teen. Squaring his shoulders he grasped Jack's hand once again as the winter spirit knocked on the door; only for Pitch to vanish into shadow. Of course Jack expected that, Jack figured the news would be better accepted if Pitch wasn't there, acting as possessive as he usually does.
"Jack! Is good to see you. Glad you could make it. How have you been?" North asked as they made their way to where the others were.
"Fine. Better than fine actually! There's something I've been meaning to tell all of you but haven't been able to till now, since all of you are here." He said and he came to where the other guardians were lunging.
"Everyone Jack just told me he had news for us." North said as he settled into a chair. Four sets of eyes set their focus on Jack.
"Well... It's not exactly the easiest thing to say but-" He was suddenly cut off as Pitch stepped from the shadows, gripping Jack's hand as though his life depended on it.
"Jack and I are dating." Pitch said, his eyes glued only on Jack so as not to see the guardians judging him. Bunny raised an eyebrow.
"Yeh what else is new?"
