so it starts like this

my friend silkom sent me a postcard (cus part of my present to her for her bday was these postcards by this lady called wendy june, see her shit at wendyjune.com.au (she's a babe)) and on it it said

"hi there! this is my favourite card because it reminds me of that film "eagle.vs.shark", which, if you haven't seen, we're watching. on another note, i just wanted to write stuff in the mail, because that's always so fun! although with such an open message like a postcard, i always wondered if the mailmen read them. like, what is i was discussing drug trafficking over a pleasant postcard? i reckon they'd call the cops, yep. i reckon. maybe i'll write in code next time..."

so i made a code, which i snuck into her locker at school today. now i'm going to send her this home-made postcard. translated it says:

"i took what you said into account. i definitely don't want the postman/woman (we are a society of equal opportunities) reading my postcards, which could potentially be about drug trafficking. the chance is small, but just incase, i am now protected from nosie-postie interference.
ps. i tried to keep with the theme of people dressed as animals.
pss. i haven't seen eagle.vs.shark"

oh, and they're dressed up as animals, so i'm fobbing this off as halloween-related
