Description With the popularity of the Yellow Snow cartoon for the Muro Challenge Fun #37 still rolling (500+ views and still going) It seemed only right to give Max another outing.

No prizes for guessing where the idea for this one came from...he does like chasing squirrels...cats...leaves...beach foam...or anything else that happens to move.

Here are the links to Yellow Snow for those who have yet to experience it

I do my best to encourage my fuzzy friends to not do so (it is funny when they run, splat!, into a tree when the squirrel takes of up the trunk), though I should say I have eaten Grey Squirrel while wild camping (they are an invasive species here where the red are the native) and since had a Grey who used to come into my 4th floor apartment to raid my nut bowl (only filled it for her/him).

I can't imagine eating a squirrel someday, it would be like eating a rat !
I love animals but i think it's necessary to regulate invasive species who kill the native species.
Congrats for your art, it's cool !

Actually there is more meat and thus protein value on a rat than a squirrel (must point out I've never eaten a rat, would be cannibalism as I'm part rat...long story), sigh, just one of those pointless facts that has invaded my brain.

Maxie (the squirrel monster of the cartoon) is currently curled up on the couch behind me, he came to me many years ago as an 'uncontrollable dog' who was to be put down, nowhe has more friends than me, haha, and can walk through a field of sheep without worrying them. No squirrels this high in the mountains so no repeat of the events of the cartoon Maxie was even relaxed when an otter bounded out in front of him the other week.
