Ezra: "Hi, girls! Didya miss me?"
Hala: "Eek!"
Brightwell: "Just when I thought it was nice and quiet around here..."
Panel 2:
Ezra: "Ahh, I've been cooped up inside for weeks! Busy, busy, busy writing my Fifth Book, you know! You girls are lucky you're just regular losers; I'm simply drowning in fanmail, everybody wants to read the Fifth Book of Ezra! Yeah, you girls have no idea just how demanding the life of a successful author is... But now I've sent the manuscript off to my new publisher in Souragne, Manon Larouche. I figure she'll have it on the shelves pretty soon."
Hala: "Ugh... Another book...?"
Panel 3:
Brightwell: "Interesting article in the paper today: 'Scandal rocks Church of Ezra. Ti-Maman Larouche murdered in Marais de Tarascon'..."
