The name 7th Gear alludes to the fastest gear a standard car can go, since he got his powers from a race car engine. In 7th Gear, Mercury’s speed increases tremendously where he only appears as a Greek blur. Time slows down around Mercury as he is able to move faster than the speed of light. Mercury also start vibrating rapidly as he doesn’t stay in one place anymore is constantly moving and running. This form requires a lot of open space though to be able to excel at Super Sonic speed. Also if Mercury stops moving for even a slight second, he loses his speed in this form and faints.
