Finally got to draw something from the premiere! Also did it within the weekend it came out. Even better. However, its one of the worst background I have ever drawn haha.
Now that I really look at this, I really hate the whole background. It came out horrible!
Oh well, there are things I still like with it.

Well, for all it's worth, the background does its job. I like the way the landscape looks back there, and I really like the lighting and the shapes of the Canterlot towers on the right.
Love her expression here, and the curves and the shading of her wings. Also, magical acceleration/lightshow at work; thought the same when she did it so quickly, like a supersonic rocket.

You should see my backgrounds when I draw things in real life. I always love drawing in the foreground detail but once I have to do the background I can never be bothered working on the background because im sick of the image by that stage xD
