Just 'Venna's Planet' will probably get you to the current black and white editions, which I think are really worth having, because some of that line art is pretty snazzy, and they're reasonably priced. Also, Book One (Broken Promise) contains some material that I've deleted from the special edition. But now I want you to leap ahead with me, for a sneak peek at Special Edition Volume Two, which I am currently working on. These pages (from some of which I've deleted the captions, and which are still incomplete) will give you an idea how the Special Editions are expanded from the current material. Apart from replacing a few very bad panels, the action has much more room to spread itself out, and the dynamic framing moves things along nicely. I'm hoping that showing you this will entice you into spending your hard-earned moolah on Volume One so that, by the time you've finished reading it (144 pages!), this one will be on sale.
