This is the newest edition to the cast of Syd's World: Power-Rage. Power-Rage is a hard rock group that almost resembles AC/DC, especially the guitars and bass. Doug and Erika, bassist and drummer respectively, are siblings and they are cousins from Syd's mom Marie's side of the family. Doug and Erika are two out of five children who play music together, but became more skilled on bass and drums.

Growing up, Doug and Erika had a normal life and were about to start a band when disaster struck: Doug and Erika were at a dirty lake when Erika had a small cut on her foot. She thought it was fine until she started suffering pain around most of her leg.

It turned out to be flesh-eating bacteria and Erika had to be rushed to the hospital. When she woke up, she found out that her left leg (used to operate the hi-hat pedal) was amputated above the knee. She was devastated and went through a depression, and having phantom pain (she still suffers from it), but Doug played her a Def Leppard to cheer her up. He told her about how their drummer lost an arm but continued to play thanks to foot pedals.

Inspired, Erika decided to have her drum kit adapted to include an extra remote-hi hat (the cymbals are closed), while having the regular hi-hat cymbals a little bit open. She was able to play again after adapting her style, and they were finally able to start a band after going through a tough year.

Doug and Erika brought in Doug's friend Jon, who is the band's lead singer and college freshman Crystal, to be their lead guitarist. Crystal, who is the sister of Marshmallow Head drummer Pete, had been hanging out with Francisco. Francisco was born in Madrid, Spain and had been in America for a few weeks when Power-Rage was starting up. He became, at Crystal's request, the band's rhythm guitarist, completing the band's lineup and held their first concert at a talent show in Syd's high school.

The band plays a fusion of hard rock and power pop.

NOTE: Erika is the last LAK amputee I'm ever creating.

UPDATE (11/26/2016): The name has been changed to "High Voltage" and I might make more amputee characters, including LAK ones, in the future.
