Description
My first character, a Dalish elf called Sorrel, learns to read.Or at least tries to learn to read, Alistair is kind of a sucky teacher in this picture as he's falling asleep.
I tried to go for a very muted look because you can't see colours well at night at all. It just kind of made the two look DEATHLY PALE. I may go edit the PSD and give them some skin tone but I think that takes away from the firelight, IDK.

Sorrel is very pretty! Don't see many people pair their Dalish girls with Alistair so as a Dalish fan, this makes me very happy.

Aww, this is so sweet and lovely! I love your drawing style, and I think the colouring in this is perfect. It makes the scene seem very calm and peaceful. Their expressions and the pose are just wonderful as well.

Why doesn't this have any comments? This is gorgeous! I love the light coming from the fire, makes the picture feel nice and cozy. I also love the way you drew Dog as well.
