I haven't really got an Xmas related photo to put up, but this statue of a mother holding her child in a garden near the Great Ormond Street Hospital in London, which is a hospital that deals specifically for children, seemed fairly apt for the Xmas story.

The statue was created by Patricia Finch in 2001, and was commissioned by The Friends of the Children of Great Ormond Street Hospital in memory of Andrew Meller, who worked at the hospital.

As you can see, the statue seems to be regularly visited, as there are flowers that's been added to it quite recently.

I took this photo in the summer, which is far from Xmas, but I hope that it evokes feelings of love and care, particularly for those most unfortunate during these troubling times.
