Description Picture I drew for a person at my dorm. It doesn't really look like this. Had trouble editing. Not sure where she got the ref from.

Oh wow fearnando, this is really beautiful. Allthose little details and highlights. I love the bluey bits, especially on the eyelid. This really is gorgeous.

I saw this in my inbox and instantly went into 'AJFHAKJFHALK art gushing' mode. The cropped effect really makes it way more interesting than a normal profile. I also really like the colours that you used and how you used them. The little eyelashes and white highlights in the mane really stands out and gives it some nice detail as well.
In short: It's super duper-ey awesome and I really like it! Did you use pastels?

Thank you! The croppy thing was my friend's idea, not mine. She chose the ref she wanted me to basically copy.

Yeah, it's oil pastels.

Ffft, just because you 'copied' a ref doesn't mean it drew itself. And you're welcome.

Ooh nice. I've started using oil pastels recently, but I'm still very much a clueless noob. They're fun to draw with, though.

It's an awesome fail thus far! I can only think in grey scale, so colour combinations are beyond me. But I'll get there!
