Description Originally this design of locomotive was never adopted by any of the Canadian Government Railways...not by Canadian National...Canadian Pacific...nor even the smaller subsidiary companies such as the South Simcoe and British Columbian Railways. There only exists a concept image of the base design that was being researched and possibly being considered developed by Montreal Locomotive Works to create their first Berkshire type locomotive like how they created the two K1a Northern prototypes. The Q1 Berkshire was designed to take advantage of the CPR's then existing 2800 labeled line of heavy pacific locomotives and the P series of CPR's own Mikado's. i was just experimenting trying to make the K1a's but ended up with this by accident and so i decided to do some research and to my surprise of course i found the one refernce image of the design basis drawing. i will say its a shame the Q1 never became a living idea but at least i have something clse enough to represent what it possibly could've looked like. an no i will not give this to anyone if anybody asks since all the assets used for this engine remake are payware from K&L's T1a Selkirk, Susquehana Ye Decapod, and Reading T1 packs.
