And Just An Aside Here:...Funnily enough, this was a side project springing from, of all things, illustrations I am doing for my mother's characters and bedtime stories...which were far from frightening. Quite sweet creations, actually, though she did not disqualify some darkness and danger in the tales. Her stories were mainly influenced by fantasy and classic adventure tales, whilst my interests tended toward SF with a pinch of the fantasy element. The best of both worlds yet to be discovered, I hope.

What a feeling this creation displays. I feel it knows.... it knows something and it dares me to reveal it. It's the all seeing all knowing feeling I get with a sense of mysterious quietness.

chuckle at the expression on one friend's face when he came into the office, peered round
