If you're planning to get a DSLR, buy the camera body and lens separately. The lens that some with the body (often called "kit lens") are usually the lowest quality ones.

eheh!! Well.. Since I'll buy another Pentax (I have a Pentax K10d, but it's my dad's), I already have an extra 50mm lens I myself bought. The kit lenses my dad has are not so good, in fact, but they're also really old!! I'll buy the camera with its 18-55mm kit lens. The one who's going to sell the camera told me it's not that bad... Yep, I'm going to buy a used camera! XD The new one is way too expensive!!! Then, when I'll need one, I'll think about buying another lens!
