What a stupid name.

You glared at the back of the boys head as you slowly raised the spoon of soup to your lips. Why did you dislike Eren? He never did anything to you, right? Well, that was correct but... You just had a bad feeling about him. Even your best friend Jean didn't like him. Maybe that was the reason you didn't like Eren? Because Jean didn't like him either? No, this was absolutely your own decision... Right?

You saw Eren turn to Armin and laugh at something he said. Oh God, his green eyes were stunning.... NO! Shut up! Why were you thinking about that? He was so untrustworthy! He could burst into titan form at any moment and murder everyone! You turned your gaze back to your bowl of soup. Stupid Jaeger... With his beautiful green eyes and his chocolate brown hair and his cute little smile... Goddamn it!

"Hey (f/n), what were you staring at Titan-boy for?" A familiar voice asked. You turned to see your friend Jean giving you an odd look with his head slightly tilted.

"Just thinking about him." You replied.

Jean have you a concerned look. "Thinking about him... how?"

You realized your mistake. "How damn stupid he is..." You muttered. Jean nodded, giving you a suspicious look before going back to talking with Connie. You released a breath that you weren't aware of holding. Jean was almost like your older brother that looked out for you. He was sweet, and usually hung out with you all the time. But it got on his nerves when you were staring at Eren. Did you really do it that often? You sighed and continued eating.

"Psst... (f/n)!" You turned to see your brunette friend giving you a small smile. "Can I have your bread?"

You shrugged and handed it to her. Sasha squealed in delight and munched on it happily. "So... You crushing on Eren?" She asked, voice slightly muffled with all the bread in her mouth.

"What?! No! He's... He's untrustworthy and reckless... Suicidal Bastard..." You said. Sasha still smiled at you knowingly as you turned your gaze back to the table. You could sense her still staring at you after about five minutes. "What?" You finally asked, turning to meet her gaze.

"I see the way you stare at him, (f/n). You have that little daydream expression." She said in a matter-of-fact tone. You opened your mouth to retort. "Don't even bother arguing with me. Why don't you go over there and talk to him?" You were silent, trying to find an excuse. "Is it because of Jean?" She asked.

"Uh... no." You asked. She stared at you intensely. "I don't know, maybe. It's not like he'd enjoy me talking to him, imagine some sort of relationship that's away from enemies. I doubt Jean would even like a friendship." You muttered. Sasha tapped her fingers on the table thoughtfully, munching on the bread.

"Jean doesn't control you. You do. Why not talk to him after dinner?" Sasha asked.

You turned to look at Eren. He was looking back at you. His green eyes were staring into your (e/c) ones as he gave you a soft smile. You blushed furiously and looked down at your lap. You heard him chuckle before turning back to his friends. Silently cursing to yourself, you turned to see Sasha giving you an annoying smile (You know that look your friends give you when your crush walks by, and you're just like GUYS STFU). "I-I just can't Sasha, alright? Now stop getting into my business." You told her, shoving your tray of food over to her.

Before she could respond, you stood up and began walking towards the door. You didn't notice someone stand up as well.

~*Time Skip!*~

You stood at the gates of the castle. You furrowed your brows in confusion. What were you even doing anyway? You didn't really plan out what you were going to do after you stormed out of the mess hall. You weren't really tired, were you? No, not that much. Shrugging, you looked around. A sturdy looking tree was perching a little away from the gates. Smiling to yourself, you walked over to it and began climbing. It was fairly simple, and the branches were pretty strong. Almost like the tree was especially made for a person to climb, everything was in the place it needed to be.

Finally pulling yourself up, there was a large branch, wide enough for two people to sit side-by-side on and long enough for about five. You swung a leg over it, then pushed yourself off the trunk so you fell on the hard bark. You gasped as your back hit the branch, knocking some of the breath out of you. You took a few deep breaths before sitting back up. It was a nice spot. Quiet, peaceful, and it had a good view of the castle on one side, with the moon on the other. Sighing, you turned around and rested your back against the tree with your legs outstretched.

After a long moment of silence, a twig snapped. Grabbing your attention, you sat straight up and looked down. Just leaves and branches. "Who's there?" You spoke, voice a little shaky. You almost slapped yourself from it. Silence. "Don't act quiet to make me think I can't hear you. I know you're there. Come out." You said.

The branches below rustled a little before a brunette head poked out. "Don't kill me, I'm not a threat." The green-eyed boy said. You let a small smile adorn your features, but quickly turned around so he wouldn't see. "Mind if I sit with you?" Eren asked. You heard him climbing up more.

In response, you swung your legs over so you were side-saddling the long sturdy branch. You scooted over and let your legs dangle over the side as you watched him climb up. He finally reached the branch you were on, and sat with his back against the trunk as he stretched his legs out so his shoes were by you. "Why'd you go?" He asked.

"Why do you care?" You retorted, looking down at the leaves below to avoid his gaze.

"It was just a simple question." He said. From the corner of your eye, you could see him lean over a little in attempt to look at your face. You turned so your gaze met with his.

"Sasha was annoying me." You stated simply. "And I was done eating."

He gave your a concerned look before smiling and resting back against the tree, and placing his arms behind his head. He looked off towards the moon. "You're really something, aren't you (f/n)?" He asked.

You gave him a confused look. "Am I?" you asked before you could stop yourself.

He darted his stunning green eyes towards you. "Yeah. You're that type of girl who looks all mean and strong on the outside, but inside you're really kind and sweet. Human, like the rest of us. Just wanting a way out of this world."

You stared at him with an even more confused look, but with a dash of admiration. "You're not as stupid as I thought you were." You said.

He turned his head towards you and placed his hands on his lap. "Speaking of that... why do you hate me so much?" He asked, giving you a serious look.

"Hate is a strong word-"

"Don't dodge the question." He interrupted. Your eyes widened slightly at his sudden forwardness. His gaze softened and he gave you a small smile. "I see the way you look at me. It changes. One second, you look like you're willing to kill me at a moments notice. Then you have a cute daydreaming look, like all your hopes have just been achieved. I'm having a hard time figuring you out."

You were quiet for a moment, staring down at the leaves below you. You finally swung your legs over so they were stretched out and your shoes were touching his as you had your knees drawn up to your chest. "Honestly... I don't know how to feel about you. You're scary, because of your... powers. You could probably turn into a titan at any moment and kill us all if you wanted. But then again, you're interesting and I want to solve you like a puzzle. Then I remember that you're different from us, and dangerous." You explained.

He hummed in response and swung a leg over so he was straddling the tree. Then he scooted close to you, so you were about six inches away from each other. You felt a blush rise to your cheeks. "Well.. We're not so different at all." He said.

"How so?" You asked, putting your legs down and straddling the branch just as he was, and placing your hands in front of you on the bark. He smiled and raised a hand to your face. You almost scooted away. Almost. But you didn't.

"What's this?" He asked, taking a piece of your (h/c) hair in between his fingers. You drew in a breath at his small action.

"Hair..." You answered. He smiled and took your hand in his. He raised your hand up to his head and let your hand run though his chocolate brown tresses.

"And what's this?" He asked, not taking his eyes off of yours, even though they wandered to his head.

"Hair..." You repeated. He smiled and let go of your hand. He scooted closer and rose a hand to your nose, poking it.

"And what's this?" He asked.

"A nose..." You said.

He took your hand in his once again and rose it to his own nose, so you were poking it just as he had done to you. "And this?"

"A nose." You responded with a smile, catching on to his little trick.

He moved your hand down so it rested on his thigh as he raised his own hand up to your face again. He poked the corner of your eyes. "This?"

"(e/c) eyes." You responded.

He took your hand from where it was on his leg, and rose it to his own eyes, so your fingertips brushed his eyelashes. "What about this?" He whispered.

"Green... No... Blue... Turquoise eyes." You whispered back. He smiled and let out a breathy laugh at your response, and you smiled back.

He left your hand at his face so it cupped his cheek. He moved his own hand towards your face. His fingertips brushed against your lips. "And what about this?" He whispered softly.

You were quiet for a moment as your gaze never left his. This entire time his eyes were glued to yours, but you had finally decided to do the same. "Lips..." You murmured.

He took your hand in his and let your delicate fingertips brush over his own lips. "What about this?" He murmured in response.

You darted your eyes down to his lips. You were silent for a moment before answering. "Lips..." You whispered.

He smiled and kept his hand atop yours as you set it on the little space that was between you. "You see? We're not so different at all." He said.

"Yeah..." You looked back up to meet his green eyes, only to see them trained on your lips. You hesitantly placed your other hand atop his. Then he placed his hand atop yours, so it was both pairs of hands stacked up in a pattern. You glanced back up to him, to see his green-yet-blue eyes focused intensely on your lips.

Suddenly, he leaned in and crashed his lips against yours. Your eyes widened at the sudden impact, but you eventually relaxed into the kiss. Your eyes fluttered shut as his hands were placed on your thighs. You slowly reached up to cup his face in your hands. You let out a soft sigh once he pulled away, only for him to come back and press multiple swift, gentle kisses on your lips. You smiled at the teasing action and leaned in so you met in the middle. You heard him laugh before he opened his mouth slightly to deepen the kiss. Your breath hitched when he softly bit down on your lower lip. He smiled and pulled away enough for your eyes to meet.

"We're not that different, are we?" He whispered. You laughed lightly and let your hands come down to his shoulders. He grinned and trailed his hands down to your knees.

"I guess not." You replied. "You proved me wrong, Titan-boy."

"Did I?" He asked, raising an eyebrow.

You hummed and looked down for a moment before connecting your gaze with his again. "No, not yet." You said with a disappointed tone.

"I think you need a little more convincing." He murmured against your lips, close enough for them to brush against one another.

"Maybe I do..." You whispered in return.

And your lips met once again.
