Thanks a lot. It was hard to find a wolf to look like Cole. But I'm glad you like my work.

I found the picture on the internet and edited.
Just wanted a wolf and I used this one.
I'm sorry but I don't remember where I found it so I can post the link.

I already did that with another picture of a wolf. I never wrote I took the picture, I just edited it.
I'm way to long here to know how this thing works and notice that this picture is in every group's gallery of PHOTO MANIPULATION and not PHOTOGRAPHY.

I didn't say "I don't waste my time" I said they do. Please read what I have to say more carefully because it CAN help you.
I know people, especially people on DA, and I know they aren't going to go look through group folder JUST to make sure you put it in the right spot. All they care about is if the credit is given properly and if it isn't they report it and or flam the person.
I've seen people do what you do, photo manipulate, and they forget to credit or they can't find the link, well it always blows up in their face and later down the road they get ban for a couple of days or forever. All because they didn't credit. Which is sad because it was a good photo manipulation. DA is crazy about making sure you give the correct credit.
Yes you aren't claiming it like others do, but it's really not that hard to put what your just said "I FOUND THE PICTURE I DON'T KNOW WHO TOOK IT..." and so on, its not that hard to put that in the details. I saw other deviants asked if it was your pic too. To prevent others from thinking you "stole" it even if you didn't, then I suggest you at least put that.

I think now the description says it all.
Thanks a lot for everything and I really hope this thing with that picture can stop now. There's nothing else I can do.

You really should put in the Comments that you edited the eyes. You're leading people to believe that this wolf really has green eyes, and that is not only physically, but also genetically impossible. The only "green" a canine can have, is a grayish or amber color.

The wolf in the book has human green eyes, since it's a werewolf, so yeah this wolf must have green eyes.
Notice that the wolf is in every group's PHOTO MANIPULATION folder and NOT in photography.

I've never heard of the book, but it should still be in the artist's comments of the photo, again, to prevent further misconceptions.
I've seen an unfortunate number of people who believe that real wolves can have blue, or even green eyes. While the first is a mutation that only dogs or wolfdogs have, the latter is just literally impossible.
Thank you for adding it to the description.

Trust me I know a lot about wolves.
Thanks for letting me know about this misunderstanding with the picture.

As do I, I've researched them for over a decade and I own two wolfdog hybrids. c:
I didn't say that you were telling anyone that wolves can have green eyes, but the lack of a disclaimer was promoting the misconception in the viewers, especially with all of the "beautiful eyes" comments, who didn't seem to know it was an edit.
Now, for a real abnormal eye color, these two in particular fascinate me: [link] & [link]

Those are edited. It's genetically impossible for all canines, including wolves, to have green eyes. The most "green" possible is a grayish or amber color.

I never said they are the wolf's real eyes. I know it's impossible and if you read the description you'll see it's a character from a book for a wolf with green eyes.
