Wew... This one took SO LONG to be "finished" too! There were several things occurring behind the curtains that I simply couldn't post it at the planned date. But now, it's finally here.
KEEP IN MIND THAT
Like the official OCG product pages, this very showcase will be updated as soon as new cards get finished. At the end, they all will be posted, individually, in my gallery. (Their artworks too, in case this is what you're wondering. But hey, talk to Batmed, he's the artwork guy!)

I find it disturbing actually how deep Link has crept into the Extra Deck that every archetype needs a Link monster member. Β
That's just ridiculous, not other mechanic demanded that every archetype should have a member. Some could focus on Synchro, others on Fusion. But now regardless, all have to have Link.Β

If Link were to be made to stand by itself: You can only Link Summon on
Extra Monster ZonesΒ or Zones other Link Monster point to. You can Summon
the others as you would normally. But it's still aΒ lame of a mechanic, either way. Β

Well almost the same thing happened in the Xyz era.

It never was the case. Also Xyz didn't interfere with the other mechanics. That's the main issue with Link. It imposed itself on the game. During Xyz era some archetypes, it's true, got Xyz support (and not only Xyz), but that was so because they were already old and they should have Extra Deck options available to them. I'd have no problem with Link, if only it would stand as a mechanic on it's own and not force a player to use them to access the Extra Deck.Β
