o_o magikarp is spelled with a K (the pokemon that is), so it doesnt matter what the real carps are spelled with. xD its the pokemons name you cant go around changing that.

Essentially as I saw it it looked like the word "crap" to her because she likely didn't know what a "Carp" was. She has since stated otherwise (in an incredibly condescending reply), but that is what it looked like at the time.
This entire thing has been a major exercise in miscommunication and has blown out of proportion.

Yumix said Magicarp, which was a typo of Magikarp. You joked that it looked like Magicrap. I assumed it was because you didn't see Carp as a word and saw "crap" instead, and it seemed like that could only be because you likely didn't know what a Carp was. I wasn't trying to be demeaning I just honestly thought that was the case. I also am not advocating that all Magikarp be spelt Magicarp like you seem to think I am.
Honestly, all I did was assume that you didn't know what a Carp was, since it seemed like it at the time, and told you what a Carp was. I understood the joke, my response was not meant to be demeaning, but you took it entirely the wrong way. Tone doesn't exactly carry across on the net, but I'd imagine that the tone you read my comment in is vastly different from the tone I wrote it in.
